New commercial builds
New-build units and premises managed from design through construction to handover.
Whether it is new commercial space or a fit-out against a fixed opening date, I manage the programme, the cost and the contractors, so your business gets a finished space without running the project yourself.
Commercial projects nearly always come with a deadline that matters: a lease start, an opening date, or a business that cannot afford extended downtime. Managing designers, contractors, building control and your own operations at the same time is a full-time job.
I take that on for you. I coordinate the design and construction team, keep the programme and budget under control and make sure the finished space is handed over ready to trade on the date you were promised.
Managing architects, engineers and consultants through to a complete, buildable design.
Tendering, contractor selection and contract administration.
A programme built around your critical date, with early warning of risks to it.
Cost planning, budget monitoring and tight management of change.
Handling approvals, licences and communication with everyone affected.
Site compliance, inductions and oversight of method statements and risk assessments.
Regular site audits so work is checked as it is built, not at the end.
Commissioning, snagging, O&M manuals and a clean handover ready to trade.
New-build units and premises managed from design through construction to handover.
Full or partial fit-outs delivered against fixed opening dates and operational constraints.
Reconfigurations, extensions and upgrades managed alongside a working business.
Robin Croft Project Management is not ISO accredited, but every project is run under an Integrated Management System designed to mirror the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001. It gives clients a structured, auditable approach to quality, health and safety, and environmental control.
The system is aligned with BS EN ISO 9001:2015, BS ISO 45001:2018 and BS EN ISO 14001:2015 and is reviewed internally on a regular cycle.
Documented procedures from enquiry and contract review through to document control, with client feedback reviewed.
Risk assessments, method statements and site visit reports, with CDM-aware working on every site.
Environmental aspects assessed and managed, with suppliers and subcontractors encouraged to do the same.
Internal audits, management reviews, training records and lessons learned captured at project close-out.
Yes. Phasing, out-of-hours working and clear communication with staff and customers are planned into the programme from the start.
I manage them on your behalf: tendering, appointing, directing the works and checking progress, quality and cost against the agreed contract.
Then the programme is built backwards from that date, with the critical path and key risks tracked and reported regularly so any threat is raised early.
Not currently. My Integrated Management System is designed to mirror the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, so quality, safety and environmental control follow a structured, auditable process.
